Finding something fun to do in Portland, Oregon shouldn't be complicated.
FiestaPDX is a simple events website created to make it easier to discover what's happening around our community in Portland. The idea is straightforward: bring local events together in one place so you don't have to search through dozens of websites, posts, and social media feeds to figure out what's going on.
Supporting local
One of the main reasons this site exists is to support local venues, musicians, artists, and other people who create the events that make a community interesting.
We especially enjoy highlighting events connected to the Latino community, but that's only part of what you'll find here. We're also fans of nostalgia—everything from disco nights and classic rock to the music and events that bring back great memories.
And, of course, there's plenty happening today too. Music is a big part of this project, but we're interested in much more than music. You'll also find art, food, cultural activities, festivals, community gatherings, and things to do with your family and kids.
Something for everyone
Whether you're looking for a night out, a concert, a neighborhood event, something to do with the kids, or simply a reason to get out of the house, the goal is to make finding it easy.
There are plenty of great events happening locally. They just aren't always easy to find.
Why I created this
Honestly, this started as something I wanted for myself.
I kept seeing cool events announced online—especially on Instagram—and thinking, "I should go to that."
Then the post disappeared into the feed.
A few days later, I couldn't find it again.
So this site is my way of keeping track of the cool things happening around me and making sure I don't miss that Instagram post that I'll probably never see again.
If it helps you discover something new, support a local artist or venue, or simply find something fun to do this weekend, then it's doing exactly what I hoped it would.
